📢 Feature Release: “Continue Without Action” in Smart Vid Interactions!!

We’re excited to announce a powerful new enhancement to Smart Vids:
“Continue Without Action”
— an interaction setting that requires the viewer to click before continuing playback,
without linking
to another step or URL. Perfect for
quizzes
,
gated content
, or simple confirmations.

Restrictions
  • This feature is available
    only on Premium and Enterprise plans
    (as with all Smart Vid features).

What’s New
Continue Without Action Option
  • Now supported in all Smart Vid interactions:
    Questions
    and
    Clickable Areas
    .
  • Viewers must interact before resuming playback,
    without being redirected
    .
Same-Step Playback
  • The video
    remains on the same step
    , resuming immediately after the user engages.
Full Analytics Support
  • Clicks still
    trigger analytics tags
    , so you retain complete tracking insights even without redirection.

How to Use It
  1. Go to your Smart Vid and open the
    Steps editor
    .
  2. Add either a
    Question
    or a
    Clickable Area
    interaction.
  3. In the
    Action
    dropdown menu, select
    “Continue Without Action.”

  1. Save and
    preview your Smart Vid
    . The interaction now requires a user click to resume, but playback stays on the same step.
