We’ve just made it easier than ever to bring your videos into Vidalytics. With File Link Import
, you can now paste a public video link
 (from YouTube, Vimeo, Wistia, JW Player, etc.) and instantly import it into your account.
This is perfect for quickly testing, tracking, and analyzing a video — without needing to set up full integrations or authentication.

Paste any supported video link and Vidalytics will fetch the file automatically.

Clear feedback if the link is invalid, private, or unsupported.
Onboarding Flow
New users can drop in a video link immediately to start testing with Vidalytics.
⚠️ Restrictions
Only works with publicly accessible videos

Large or unsupported formats will return an error message.
Limited by your plan’s video quota:
Free plans
: up to 3 videos.
Paid plans
: 5–50 videos depending on tier.
🛠️ How to Use It
Go to Upload → Import via URL
 in your Vidalytics dashboard.
Paste your video link (e.g., from YouTube, Vimeo).
Click Import
 and Vidalytics will fetch the video.
If successful, the video will appear under Processing
 immediately.
If it fails, you’ll receive a clear message explaining why (e.g., invalid or private link).
