📢 Feature Release: Use Another Video for Your Thumbnail! 🎥

We’re making it easier than ever to boost your video performance with
proven, high-performing thumbnails
— even if they come from a completely different video.
You can now select a thumbnail frame from
any video in your My Vids library
(excluding Smart Vids as source), making it easier to test and reuse winning visuals across campaigns.

Restrictions
  • Available on all paid plans (Starter and above).
  • Cannot be used for Exit Thumbnails.

Cross-Video Thumbnail Selection
  • Choose
    any existing video
    in your
    My Vids
    as the
    source
    for a video thumbnail.
  • Applies to both
    regular videos
    and
    Smart Vids
    (but
    cannot
    use Smart Vids as the source).

Precise Frame Picker
  • Use the
    familiar timing selection flow
    to pick the perfect frame from the source video.

Thumbnail Source Preview
  • The
    name and first frame
    of the selected video are shown in the sidebar thumbnail preview panel — no guessing.

Auto-Sync Behavior
  • If the
    source video is replaced
    , your thumbnail updates automatically.
  • If the
    source video is deleted
    , we’ll
    fallback to an image placeholder
    so your thumbnail visuals don’t break.

How to Use It
  1. Upload or select
    the video you want to set a thumbnail for.
  2. Wait for processing to complete.
  3. Go to
    Vid Settings → Video Thumbnails
    .
  4. Set the thumbnail type to
    “Video”
    .
  5. Click
    “Select from another video”
  6. Choose the
    source video
    from your
    My Vids
    library.

  1. Scrub to the perfect frame
    , click
    Save
    .
  2. Preview & Publish
    to apply the new thumbnail.
