📢 Feature Release: Vids AI – Stats Summary & Drill Down

We’re thrilled to introduce
Vids AI – your on-demand video performance analyst.
With this new feature, you can instantly generate
AI-powered insights and tactical recommendations
for any video — directly from Vid Stats.
Vids AI analyzes your video’s performance data, identifies strengths and weaknesses, and delivers actionable tips tailored to your
video type
(VSL, webinar, product demo, etc.) — all in a conversational, easy-to-use interface.

What’s New
Ask Vids AI on Vid Stats
  • A new
    Ask Vids AI
    button appears on every video’s
    Vid Stats
    page.
  • Click it to open a
    right-side AI insights sidebar
    , where Vids AI automatically generates a clear, conversion-focused summary of your video’s performance.
Tailored Insights by Video Type
  • On first use, you’ll be asked to
    confirm your video type
    (e.g., VSL, Webinar, Product Demo).
  • This selection helps Vids AI personalize recommendations based on best practices for that content type.
  • Your choice is saved per video and can be edited anytime in
    Vid Settings
    .
Structured AI Summary
  • Insights are based on the
    currently selected stats period
    and video metadata.
The AI output includes:
  1. Clear
    performance highlights
  2. Tactical
    conversion optimization recommendations
  3. Key
    engagement metrics
    such as play rate, unmute rate, % watched, CTA clicks, and conversions.
Conversational Drill Down
  • You can ask
    follow-up questions
    in natural language — Vids AI keeps the context and deepens the analysis within the same conversation thread.
Examples:
"Why is my CTA click rate lower than usual?”
“What can I do to improve retention after the first 10 seconds?”
Ratings & Feedback
  • Rate each AI response with
    thumbs up/down
    and add optional feedback.
  • If you close the sidebar without rating, you’ll be softly prompted to leave a rating before exiting.
Thread Caching
  • Your latest AI conversation is saved
    per video and stats period
    .
  • If you reopen the sidebar without changing the time range, you’ll return to your last thread instantly.
  • Switching to a different stats period generates a new summary; switching back restores the previous one.
Copy to Share
  • Quickly copy any AI response with
    one click
    — perfect for sharing insights with teammates or clients.

How to Use It
  1. Open
    Vid Stats
    for any video.
  2. Click
    Ask Vids AI
    on the top right of the screen.
  3. (First time only) Confirm your
    video type
    — this helps tailor recommendations.

  2. Review your key takeaways and recommendations.

  2. Rate responses and leave feedback to help improve future suggestions.
